Terms & Conditions
The legal agreement users must accept before creating or using a Grace Connect account.
Last Updated: June 16, 2026
Agreement to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions, also called the “Terms,” govern access to and use of Grace Connect, including the Grace Connect mobile application, web pages, church registration forms, member sign-up forms, administrative features, support tools, and related services. By creating an account, registering a church, accepting an invitation, signing in, or using Grace Connect, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Data Retention Schedule, Location Disclosure, and any feature-specific notices shown in the app.
If you do not agree, do not create an account, do not register a church, and do not use Grace Connect.
1. Who Operates Grace Connect
Grace Connect is operated by I Create Solutions & Services, owned by Shamar Baker, located at Bull Bay, St Andrew, Jamaica. For general support, contact support@graceconnect.app. For privacy questions, contact privacy@graceconnect.app.
2. 18+ Eligibility Requirement
Grace Connect is intended only for persons who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. Grace Connect is not designed for children, minors, or users under 18. If we learn that an account was created by a person under 18, we may suspend or delete that account and associated data, subject to any lawful retention requirements.
3. Church-Based Use of the App
Grace Connect is a faith-centered digital platform built to help churches manage member connection, announcements, events, Bible study, ministry groups, prayer requests, testimonies, attendance, giving links, direct messages, pastoral-care workflows, support requests, and church administration. Each church space is intended to be used only by approved members, leaders, administrators, ministry workers, and authorized persons connected to that church.
4. Church Registration and Authority
Only an authorized pastor, senior leader, church officer, appointed administrator, or person with permission from church leadership may register a church on Grace Connect. By registering a church, you confirm that you are authorized to provide the church’s name, denomination, address, contact information, and administrative account details. Grace Connect may approve, reject, suspend, request additional information for, or remove a church registration if verification fails, information appears false, the church space is misused, or the church violates these Terms.
5. Member Account Creation
Members may request access to an approved church space. Creating an account does not guarantee church membership or access to a church’s private Grace Connect space. Church administrators may approve, decline, suspend, remove, or restrict member access according to church policy, safety needs, and platform rules.
6. Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must not share your password, impersonate another person, access another person’s account, bypass email verification, exploit security weaknesses, or use Grace Connect in a way that compromises the safety of church data or member data. Notify Grace Connect immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
7. Supabase Authentication and Data Access Controls
Grace Connect uses Supabase for authentication, account sessions, database storage, and role-based data access. Supabase authentication may include email and password sign-up, email verification, password reset, session management, and account metadata. Grace Connect is designed to use church-level access separation and role-based controls so members normally access only the church and features that they are authorized to use.
8. Firebase, Push Notifications, and Device Services
Grace Connect may use Firebase services for push notifications, analytics, messaging delivery, cloud functions, app diagnostics, and related operational features. Push notifications may include announcements, event reminders, prayer updates, direct message alerts, ministry group updates, support messages, and account-related notices. You may control notification permissions through your device settings and in-app preferences where available.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Grace Connect in a respectful, lawful, faith-centered, and community-building way. You must not upload, send, post, or promote content that is abusive, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, exploitative, discriminatory, defamatory, fraudulent, illegal, deceptive, spam-like, malicious, violent, self-harm-promoting, or designed to manipulate or harm members, churches, administrators, or the platform.
10. User Content
User content includes posts, comments, testimonies, prayer requests, direct messages, ministry group messages, profile details, images, videos, audio, support attachments, counseling/care requests, event responses, reactions, and any other material submitted through Grace Connect. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Grace Connect, your church administrators, and authorized processors a limited right to host, store, transmit, display, moderate, remove, review, and process that content for the purpose of providing, securing, supporting, and improving the app.
11. Privacy Settings Are Not Absolute
Grace Connect may offer privacy controls such as private profile settings, contact visibility controls, message preferences, family tree visibility, block controls, and church-only visibility. These controls help manage visibility among users, but they do not prevent all authorized access. Certain administrators, care-team members, security reviewers, or service providers may access limited information where necessary for platform operation, church administration, safety, support, legal compliance, abuse investigation, or incident response.
12. Direct Messages and Group Communication
Direct messages and group messages must be used responsibly. You must not harass, pressure, threaten, exploit, deceive, groom, solicit inappropriate relationships, send unwanted media, or share another person’s private information. Grace Connect may provide blocking, reporting, deletion, delivered/read status, and temporary/vanishing content features. Deleting a message from your view may not remove all copies from backups, audit records, reports, recipient devices, church moderation records, or lawful retention systems.
13. Prayer Requests, Testimonies, and Sensitive Faith Content
Prayer requests, testimonies, and faith-related posts may contain deeply personal information. You must only share information you are comfortable sharing with the selected audience. Do not post another person’s sensitive information without permission. Anonymous or private prayer features may reduce visibility, but they are not a guarantee of complete anonymity from all authorized church or platform personnel.
14. Counseling, Pastoral Care, and Emergencies
Grace Connect may help users request prayer, counseling, follow-up, pastoral care, or care-team support. These features are not emergency services, medical services, legal services, crisis intervention services, or a substitute for qualified professional advice. If there is immediate danger, medical emergency, suicide risk, abuse, violence, or criminal threat, contact local emergency services or appropriate authorities immediately.
15. Attendance and Location Features
Grace Connect may use device location for church attendance, geofencing, service check-in, duplicate attendance prevention, late status calculation, and attendance history. Some attendance features may require foreground or background location permission depending on device settings and feature configuration. You must review and accept the Location Disclosure before enabling automatic attendance. You may disable location permission through your device settings, but some attendance features may not work without location access.
16. Giving, Donations, Payments, and External Providers
Grace Connect may provide links or buttons for tithes, offerings, donations, pledges, or giving through external church-approved payment providers. Grace Connect does not intend to store full payment card numbers, banking credentials, or card security codes. Donations, refunds, failed transactions, receipts, tax treatment, chargebacks, and payment disputes are handled according to the rules of the relevant church and payment provider. Users should verify the giving recipient before completing any payment.
17. Church Administrator Responsibilities
Church administrators are responsible for managing their church space, approving members, assigning roles carefully, removing access when needed, moderating content, handling sensitive member data respectfully, configuring giving links correctly, maintaining accurate church information, training staff, and following applicable laws and church policies. Administrators must not use their access to invade privacy, retaliate against members, disclose confidential information, or misuse pastoral-care, attendance, prayer, or financial data.
18. Role-Based Access
Grace Connect may include roles such as Member, Admin, Pastor, Senior Pastor, Care Team, Finance, Event Manager, Prayer Team, Role Manager, and other church-specific roles. Role names and permissions may change over time. Access should be granted only to users who need it and should be removed promptly when a person changes ministry duties, leaves leadership, leaves the church, or no longer requires access.
19. Support Tickets and Diagnostics
When you submit a support request, Grace Connect may collect your issue type, affected app section, impact level, summary, description, screenshots or attachments, device model, operating system, app version, account identifier, church identifier, email address, and role information. Do not upload passwords, financial card numbers, government identification numbers, private counseling content, or unnecessary sensitive information in support tickets.
20. Prohibited Technical Conduct
You must not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe, attack, copy, disrupt, bypass permissions, exploit vulnerabilities, upload malware, automate abusive actions, harvest user data, misuse APIs, interfere with Supabase/Firebase services, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Grace Connect, another church space, another user account, or connected systems.
21. Intellectual Property
Grace Connect, its name, logo, interface design, page layouts, feature structure, written content, operating documents, and platform materials belong to I Create Solutions & Services or its licensors, except for content owned by users, churches, or third-party providers. You may not copy, resell, clone, rebrand, or commercially exploit Grace Connect without written permission.
22. Third-Party Services
Grace Connect may connect with or rely on third-party services including Supabase, Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Maps, email services, notification services, app store services, analytics tools, hosting platforms, and external giving providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Grace Connect is not responsible for every action, outage, pricing change, data practice, or policy of third-party providers.
23. Account Suspension, Restriction, and Termination
Grace Connect may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate any account, church space, role, content, or feature access if we believe these Terms were violated, the account creates risk, the church registration is unauthorized, the user is under 18, abuse is reported, payment/giving links are misused, security is threatened, legal obligations require action, or continued access would harm Grace Connect, a church, members, or the public.
24. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion through the in-app account deletion option where available or through the public account deletion page. Deletion may remove or anonymize personal profile data, authentication records, and account-linked content, subject to lawful retention, security, fraud prevention, audit, church administration, dispute, donation, attendance, report, or legal requirements. See the Account Deletion Policy and Data Retention Schedule for details.
25. Service Availability and Changes
Grace Connect may change, improve, suspend, restrict, replace, or discontinue any feature at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. App functionality may depend on internet access, device permissions, operating system rules, Supabase, Firebase, Google services, app store review decisions, church settings, or other external conditions.
26. Disclaimers
Grace Connect is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, perfect security, error-free performance, or suitability for every church or ministry need.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Grace Connect, I Create Solutions & Services, Shamar Baker, and their service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the app, service interruptions, data loss, church decisions, content posted by users, external payment providers, unauthorized access not caused by our intentional misconduct, or misuse of the platform by users or administrators.
28. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grace Connect, I Create Solutions & Services, Shamar Baker, and their providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the app, violation of these Terms, unlawful content, unauthorized church registration, misuse of another person’s data, violation of someone’s rights, or breach of applicable law.
29. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Jamaica, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless another mandatory law applies. Any dispute should first be addressed in good faith by contacting Grace Connect support. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we may provide notice through the app, website, email, or other reasonable method. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. For significant changes, Grace Connect may require users to accept the new version before continuing to use the app.
31. Sign-Up Acceptance Checkbox Wording
