1. Purpose of Care Features
Grace Connect may help users request prayer, counseling, spiritual support, ministry follow-up, or pastoral care from their church. These features are designed for church communication and follow-up, not emergency response.
2. No Medical, Legal, or Licensed Therapy Guarantee
Unless a church independently provides properly licensed professionals, Grace Connect does not provide medical care, mental health treatment, legal advice, financial advice, crisis intervention, or licensed therapy.
3. Sensitive Information
Users should be careful before submitting sensitive information. Prayer or counseling requests may be reviewed by authorized pastors, care teams, church administrators, support personnel, or safety reviewers depending on settings and the nature of the request.
4. Safety Escalation
If a request suggests immediate danger, abuse, self-harm, violence, criminal conduct, or serious safety risk, church leaders or Grace Connect may take steps to protect safety, including contacting appropriate persons or authorities where lawful and necessary.
5. Church Responsibility
Churches using care features should train authorized care-team users, limit access, protect confidentiality, avoid gossip, follow safeguarding obligations, and maintain appropriate escalation procedures.
